Immersive fashion show to e-Commerce experience.
In 2015, at George Brown College made a creative business pitch of Immersive Fashion Show & e-Commerce to FAT (Fashion Art Toronto)
Runway, Reimagined with AR + QR Code + e-Commerce
I proposed an AR-driven commerce experience for Fashion Art Toronto, using QR codes to connect the runway to an interactive e-commerce platform. To elevate the concept, I envisioned adding an olfactory layer for a full sensory experience, blending immersive installation with digital commerce.
Rather than limiting it to a pitch at Corus Entertainment, I directly reached out to FAT’s Executive Director. This entrepreneurial step reflected a user-first mindset and a commitment to turning ideas into real-world impact.
Overview
Role: Business Design
Location: Toronto, Canada
Project: Academic project, Creative business pitch presented at Corus Entertainment to Fashion Art Toronto.
Team: Partnering with a fellow student, I spearheaded the strategy and business vision behind an e-commerce experience for Toronto’s indie fashion designers.
Use Augmented Reality concept as a hook to allow audiences redirect to an e-commerce platform that listed all products and more from the designers participating in fashion week.
e-Commerce: Redirect users to a web service that is unique to the event and allow them to either buy on the spot or cart for later purchase.
Innovation: New and independent designers don’t land into mainstream retail brand to sell their clothes and apparel designs. This brings opportunity for all- designers, event managers and collaborators to be able to generate revenue.
